A short story, in literature, is a genre of short fiction that tells a story in a simple way. The genre features of a short story are determined by the way the story is told, the compositional and plot structure, and the artistic system. The story is small in size, the number of characters is small, and the plot has a beginning, climax, and resolution. It presents a person, his life, and his fate, a very important story. There is no room here for repetition, detailed narration, or lengthy descriptions. The short story genre requires special artistic skill, which is able to convey a lot through a small number of images.
